RISHA COZIER

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER II

Ms. Cozier graduated from the University of Trinidad and Tobago in 2015 with her BASc. in Civil Engineering Systems with Structural Engineering and is currently pursuing a MSc in Civil Engineering at the University of the West Indies. She has a 5 years’ solid work experience in the preparation of structural designs for a wide array of building and non-building structures in Trinidad and Tobago and the Eastern Caribbean. These include; residential buildings, schools, warehouses, equipment foundations, hotel resorts, commercial plazas and multi-storey apartment buildings. Risha also has acquired extensive technical knowledge and experience in the design of reinforced concrete structures, namely; shear walls, special moment frame buildings, buried liquid retaining structures, anchored retaining walls and post-tensioned slab on grade foundations. Key projects include Kempinski Resorts Dominica, Shirvan Road and Carenage Police Stations, and the Ministry of Health Main Administration Building, Port of Spain. She is the holder of a valid PLEA HSEQ passport and is a Level 1 certified PT installer in field fundamentals, certified with the Post Tensioning Institute. Risha is an associate member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Trinidad and Tobago (APETT) and is currently working towards professional membership with the Board of Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago (BOETT).
